In March 2023 we introduced the (then) brand new Thame Training Band! Originally a group of five players, the band has now more than tripled in size and continues to grow from week to week.

The younger sibling of the Concert Band, TTB offers a safe, welcoming environment to return to music making or carry on learning a first, second or even third instrument! The band welcomes players of all standards and experience and there are no auditions.

We're certain that every player will find at least one piece of music in the band that they enjoy playing, we deliberately do not play beginner music but just learn at a different pace and in a different way to the Concert Band.
